Mr. Edward William "Bill" Dulweber's Obituary
Edward William “Bill” Dulweber, a loving husband and father, passed away on July 11, 2014 in Longview. Visitation will be Sunday, July 13, 2014, at Rader Funeral Home from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 14, 2014 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 2:00 P.M. with Father Denzil Vithanage officiating. A rosary will precede the funeral at 1:30 P.M.
Bill Dulweber was born to John and Alma Dulweber on April 20, 1927, in Grenada, MS. He graduated from University of Tennessee, and he briefly taught at Christian Brothers College in Memphis, TN. He served his country during WWII in the U.S Marine Corps. He married Mary Elizabeth Harrison, and together they raised 5 wonderful children. He moved his young family to Longview when he began his career at Texas Eastman. He retired from Texas Eastman in 1992 after 34 years of service. Bill Dulweber was a member of St. Anthony’s and St. Mary’s Parishes, served as a lector and was a past Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus.
Bill was predeceased by his daughter, Margie Dulweber Garland. Bill is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Elizabeth Dulweber, his daughter, Susan McWhorter and her husband, David of Longview; and three sons and spouses Mark and Susie Dulweber, of Longview, Vincent and Karen Dulweber of Longview and John and Angie Dulweber of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
