My dad was an amazing man. When I got my first car he showed me how to drive. While he was teaching me to drive he would say make sure you check your mirrors before taking off. He loved to take me to the car shows in texas when I got the chance to visit him and mom. I miss him calling me gumby, that was a favorite nickname he had give me. I love him and miss him so much. He will be missed very much. I love you dad!

Mr Ed you will be definitely missed. You meant the world to my family cause we always felt you were family to us. We know you enjoyed your 34 years in Longview and your retirement life. Know you always have a very special place in our hearts 💕 and we love you.
Vicki and Randy Roush and family

Uncle Dee and Aunt Helen came to North Carolina several times to see our family(my father was his brother Earl). When dad was in the final stages of Alzheimer’s they came for a visit. We were at my sisters house (Renee). Uncle Dee spent hours talking about their childhood with dad. It is a very precious memory. Learned some things I hadn’t heard before and it made dad smile. They shared some photos Uncle Dee and dad (Earl). When they hugged goodbye Uncle Dee told my dad-the next time I see you will be in heaven. Hope the reunion was wonderful
I remember when i was little i was four years old n i was in the hospital grandma and grandpa would come bring me arby’s to eat esp chocolate milkshake. Also the best memory was him teaching me how to swim and jump off the diving board . I would be scared to jump off the board but i can hear him in my ears and saying it be okay and you got this. There was times when i went on vacation traveling from florida w my grandparents to longview texas i will be in the back seat with my brothers and i be singing oh i just cant wait to be king and achy breaky heart. he would always join in the choir n sing. I would write more but let’s just say im grateful i was able to spend my 39 years with my grampa . i Will dearly miss him every day he is always in my heart. i love you grandpa until we see again .
Treasure every moment with family, for they are life's greatest blessings, and seize the time you have, Grandpa, your love will forever be cherished and memories of you will be loved forever. There are countless ways to express my feelings but words fall short now but know that my love for you will endure forever and I'll hold dear every memory we made together and I promise to always be there for grandma. Love you forever
Love you grandpa, truly blessed to have shared 31 amazing years all of which were full of great memories. Thankful for all the memories, the life lessons, and the introspective thoughts. I know that the our lord has greeted you with open arms and I know I will see you again.
I remember always swimming with grandpa, he was really the one who taught me how to swim at a young age. He also taught me how to ride my bike without training wheels. Even though I was scared out of my mind, I knew I could trust him because of his love for me and his grandchildren. Grandpa we miss you and love you! Always be in my heart.
