Edna Baker
Edna Baker was born in Caledonia, N.Y. on July 27, 1924 to Frank Owen Durney and Wife Corine Ethyl McCary. She was on of Twelve children.
She married John Charles "Jack" Baker on Christmas Eve 1941. They had five sons, Al, Clarence, Dwight, Gilbert and Leonard. She and her husband operated a dairy farm for many years before moving to Longview upon retirement. They had 18 Grandchildren and 14 Great –Grand children.
Edna was always ready to lend a helping hand. Even in hard times there always seemed to be enough to share.
She is survived by Al Baker and wife Iiece Baker of Tyler, Sue Baker of Longview, Dwight and Gloria Baker of Latch, Gilbert and Debbie Baker of Byron, N.Y. also survived by two sisters, Ethyl Ezard and Helen Dutton both of New York. and 16 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren
Graveside services will be held at Eleven O'clock Wednesday December 16, 2009 at Memory Park Cemetery with Reverend Donny Chamberlain officiating. Interment will be under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Baker passed away Sunday December 13, 2009 in Tyler
