Graveside services for Edith Lucille ?Parker? Tullos, 78, of Hallsville will be held at Noon Monday, November 2, 2009 at Hallville Cemetery with the Reverend Ottis Jarrell officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the funeral home. Mrs. Tullos was born on December 25, 1930 in Belott to James E. ?Bud? and Ruthie Ann Parker and lived in Grapeland and Hallsville most of her life. She passed away in a Longview hospital on Friday, October 30, 2009. She was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling with her children and siblings, as well as fishing and eating. A loving mother and grandmother, Mrs. Tullos was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Trent Houghton; an infant brother; and a sister, Annie Ruth. She is survived by her son, Joe and Judy Tullos; daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Joe Arnold, Glenna and Ronnie Williams all of Hallsville, Gloria and Marshall Houghton of Longview; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; brother, J.E. ?Son? Parker and his wife Evelyn of Gilmer; sisters, Anna Bell ?Mutt? Helm of Conroe, Berta Robertson of Houston, and Mildred Rose of Dayton as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to express thanks to the nurses, aides, cooks, and staff of Summer Meadows Nursing Home, Good Shepherd Medical Center ICU and Hospice Unit Staff, Texas Home Health Hospice Staff, Dr. Slade and Dr. Kiser for the kind and loving care of our mother during her final years.
