I miss you every day Mom. I have so many sweet and funny memories of you. I remember you got the nickname Hercules because you pulled the handle off the water fawcet as you were turning off the water. You had a way of making people laugh and making me laugh even in the toughest situations. I love you - till we meet again❤️
Aunt Irene was such a joy in my life. Her eternal smile, good sense of humor, and positive outlook even in the midst of heartbreak were very encouraging to me. She was quite talented and such a loving, giving, caring Christian lady. I will forever treasure the many memories I have of her and am eternally grateful for the influence she had on my life. Until I see you again, Aunt Irene, I love you.
Mamaw, use to go walking, I would walk w her, and we would pick black and red berries..
I have no words really to say how much I loved and will miss Mama Irene. She loved me like I was one of her own kids, and the feelings were mutual.
Since I moved to Missouri I come home yearly to visit. My first and last visit was always Mama Irene and Graci. She made sure to always send me home with something homemade for my kitchen, hand towels, pot holders and etc. My visits will continue but there will be a big part missing now. No more sitting on the porch and having our little chats...
