Eddie Elaine Brown, 76, was born on June 28, 1948 in Fort Worth, Texas, Eddie passed away on October 13, 2024 in Kilgore, Texas.
Eddie found joy in cooking, entertaining, and traveling, not to mention spending precious time with her children and grandchildren. Her volunteer work with Meals on Wheels and as a reading instructor at Montgomery Elementary truly showcased her generous spirit.
She is survived by her daughter, Carey Bailey Anderson, and her husband, Eric, her grandson Landon McElyea, and Carolina, great-granddaughter Olivia Blake McElyea, granddaughter Shelby Brown, great-granddaughter Laynee Rae Brown, and her sister, Elizabeth Handler.
Her husband, Billy G. Brown, her son, Blake Bryant Bailey, and her parents precede her in death.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the caregivers who provided tender care and support to Eddie in her final months.
Private graveside services will be at Lakewood Memorial Gardens in Henderson, under the guidance of Rader Funeral Home.
