Edward N. Ed Roach, 79, went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 9th, 2010. Ed was born on December 4, 1930 in Longview and was the great-grandson of F. L. Whaley, one of the founders of the city. He was preceded in death by Read Obituary

As you know my heart goes out to you in the loss of ED.You are aware of how much I thought of him and how much I enjoyed talking to him at our social functions.Ed was the same anytime I saw him and he treated everyone equally and made them feel they were somebody.He will be sorely missed by all.

Dear Jackie, I know words offer small comfort in your hour of sorrow. I do want to express my sincere sympathy to you. You have lost a wonderful husband and we have lost a dear and good friend.
