Earnest Galen Greer's Obituary
Services honoring Earnest Galen Greer will be 10 AM Thursday April 21, 2011 at Macedonia Baptist Church Pastor Steve Cochran officiating. Graveside Masonic burial rites will follow at Cain Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home.
Galen was born December 16, 1936 to Aaron Earnest Greer and Lorraine Lea Walls and left his earthly home April 18, 2011 after a short and courageous battle with cancer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother James Neal Greer; sister Linda Marlene Greer; first wife and Mother of his children Barbara Ann Childers.
He is survived by his wife Janet; daughters Diane Hopps and husband Don of Longview, Becky Greer of Fort Worth, Jennifer Bulloch and husband James of Hallsville and niece Lori Vandenburg of Athens; Janet's children Bryan and Jean Kauffman of Wagoner, Oklahoma, Brad and Laura Kauffman of Longview and Kelly Gugliuzzi of Kilgore; Grandchildren Melissa and Mike Cole, Christina and Mike Keltner, Aaron Muntz, Jay Bulloch, Larry Krumm, Matt Krumm, Elisa and Chris Rennison, Danielle Muntz, Ann Krumm, Zane, Zack, and Zoey Gugliuzzi, Nikkolet and Allison Kauffman; Great grandchildren Cierra, Lindsey, Grace Ann, Dustin and Sonora.
His family will receive visitors Wednesday evening April 20, 2011 5-7 PM at Rader Funeral, Longview.
