Earl Temple
Funeral services for Earl Temple, 81, of Longview will be held at Twelve O?clock noon Friday November 25, 2005at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home 1617 Judson Road with Reverend Glenn Benefield officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Temple passed away Tuesday November 22, 2005 in Longview.
He was born May 5, 1924 in Mansfield, Louisiana to Malcolm and Mary Temple.
He had lived in Longview since 1958; he was a retired supervisor with the City of Longview at the Water Plant after 35 years. He was a member of the Community Church of God and a Veteran of the U. S. Navy serving in the Pacific Campaign.
He is survived by his wife Hazel Temple of Longview, daughters Judy Mason and husband Byron of Kilgore, Tammi Collier of Longview, grandchildren, Cheryl Barker and husband Paul, John Rowe and wife Rachel, Maci and Misty Collier, Brent Wallace, great-grandchildren, Samuel and Katie Barker, Aaron Rowe, Abby and Jay Cox.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Shirley Temple, brothers, George, Allen and Chris Temple, sister Marie Shurtleff.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday November 24, 2005, 2005 from 3pm until 5 pm.
