Earl Davis Shelton's Obituary
Funeral Services for Earl Davis Shelton, 73, of Longview, will be 2 PM Tuesday at Mobberly Baptist Church with Dr. Laney Johnson officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Ore City Cemetery. Rader Funeral Home, Longview in charge of services.
The family will greet friends Monday from 6 to 8 PM at Rader Funeral Home.
Mr. Shelton passed away Friday morning in a local hospital.
A native of the Center Hill community, Cass County, he was born September 8, 1931 to the late Carl W. and Jo Ann Kirkland Shelton and was a longtime residence of this area. Mr. Shelton was a member of Mobberly Baptist Church and had retired from Eastman Kodak as a maintenance mechanic. He served his country in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Aubrey. He is survived by his wife: Sherry; Sons: Chris Shelton and wife Deborah of Henderson and Terry Shelton and wife Rebecca of White House; Step sons: Kelly M. Fullen of Lost Prairie and Terry L Fullen and wife Michelle of Danbury, TX; Grandchildren: Amanda Shelton, Aaron Shelton, Allyson and Nathan Gann, Jeremy Shelton, Sarah Shelton, Lydia Cummins, Dan Cummins, II, Terry Lee Fullen, II, Desiree Brown, Monica Brown, Savannah Brown and Jeferey Guerra; Great Granddaughters: Abigal Aaron and Addison Gant; Sister: Merle Hall and husband Kenneth of Richmond, TX.
