When Charlie came to work at Axelson there was finally someone I could understand. We spoke French, we spoke Cajun and we spoke bull. I proudly tell people that my maturation and growth came from those I was lucky to associate with during my Axelson days. Charlie was indeed one of those individuals. I was fortunate to have known Charlie.

Charlie, itâ??s been a party. I have nothing but wonderful memories from the first time I met you & your family in Dallas. Your kind & witty spirit always lifted everyone that was around you. We all left your presence feeling better & more positive than when we came. You truly have been my dearest friend. You will certainly be missed. But I know that you already have all the angles with their harps gathered around teaching them to play Cajun music & telling them your Boudreaux & Thibodaux stories.
