Dustin Lee Duncan's Obituary
Services for Dustin Lee Duncan, 22, of Longview, will be 2 PM Monday, November 28, 2005 at the Church on the Rock, FM 2087 @ I-20 with Pastors Thomas McDaniels and Church Warnock officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park Cemetery in Longview. Dustin died Wednesday, November 23. He was born May 22, 1983 in Longview to Robbie and Candi Duncan.
Dustin attended East Texas Christian School and Spring Hill School where he played soccer, basketball, football, and little league baseball. Dustin had completed hazmat and safety training and worked for Duncan Services, Inc. since he was 16 and Big D Hazmat. Dustin was an avid modified dirt racecar driver and had finished second for this season at Boothill Speedway. He also raced throughout the Ark-La-Tex area.
Dustin had many friends and was passionately loved by his family. He was a believer in Jesus Christ and was baptized at the Cornerstone Church in Longview. Dustin was married September 17, 2005 to his childhood sweetheart, Grayce Ann Waskowiak. Dustin and Grayce had recently started a new business in Tyler, Duncan Enterprises. Grayce and Dustin loved sharing their life together with many fun activities, such as, parasailing, scuba diving, and motorsports. Grayce and Dustin loved their two dogs, Zoey and Nilla, who were their constant companions.
Dustin was loved and respected by his many friends and customers. He was strong and courageous and his parents and family were proud to have him for a son.
He is survived by his wife, Grayce, of Longview; parents, Robbie and Candi Duncan of Longview; brother, Darrin Duncan of Longview; sister, Susannah Duncan of Longview; paternal grandparents, Joe and Carolyn Duncan of Hallsville, Jim and Evelyn Parker of Latch; maternal grandparents, Jim and Patsy Oehlert of Longview and David Collier of Arizona; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dean and Brenda Waskowiak of Longview; brother-in-law, Jeff Waskowiak; grandparents-in-law, Jeneane Abel of Nebraska, Janis Waskowiak of New Mexico, Fred Waskowiak of New Mexico and his girls, Zoey and Nilla.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Sunday afternoon from 3-5 PM.
