Although I did not have the privilege of personally knowing Mr. Elliot, I have had a close relationship with his son for several years.
Through our many conversations of his father I have acquired only the utmost respect and admiration for the man, the life he led, and the character and values he instilled in his children. What a blessing he was for those whose lives he impacted.

Gosh, I have so many GOOD memories of Mr. D.L. when I worked with Mrs.Lessie & him @ the Cargill Theatre in 1972 &'73; there's too many to tell. He was a GREAT BOSS, he made the job lots of fun except "when we burnt the popcorn." Later, I would see him at Good Shepherd when he was in his uniform & we had good times visiting together. It is with great sorrow that we offer our condolences to his wife, family and his many friends. Please except this small token of appreciation for someone that seemed to live life to the fullest. We met several years ago and I was facinated by his 'stories' and recollections, and the fact that he was extremely proud of them.
