Dr. Bob was a Doctor of Doctors. He was known as a dentist BUT he was so much more. Bob gave his all to his patients. I felt like family when we visited. His "practice" reached more than his office. His true concern for individuals will NEVER be matched. When he saw you he schooled you on how the body responded to tooth care. We continually joked about flossing - BUT it was a serious subject with him. Everything from HEART, to wearing gloves to work outside, to fever blisters, to medicines, to toothpaste and tooth brushes, and how to make good biscuits or mince meat pies. Only doctor I will ever know that would call me at 7:00 P.M. to tell me he was reviewing some prints and was concerned that something might have been missed about a tooth! God called home a saint, a friend, a great trumpet player and all-around good man! I will miss him sorely! Sharon must know that Rose and I loved him and her as friends and family. I was so sorry to hear about Dr. Shelton's passing. Working for him for three years was such a pleasure. I learned so much. Dr. Shelton had a big heart and loved his work. He will be missed. Thought and prayers for his family.
Sharon, I was greatly saddened to see that Bob has passed away. My condolences to you and your entire family. I know each of you will miss him dearly. He touched many, not only in his practice, but those he met in any and every venue Bob had the occasion to give of his time, effort and expertise. I will always remember him as an excellent practitioner. His referrals always had good things about him.
