Doyle Ray McClellan's Obituary
Doyle Ray was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend. He was born in Post, Texas on July 16, 1959. He passed away September 6, 2009, after a long battle with cancer.
Doyle was survived by his wife Cathy McClellan; son, Jimmy McClellan; daughter and son-in-law, Brandy and Gregg Eubanks; and sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Mickey Jones.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Scott McClellan; mother, Dorothy Carter, and his beloved grandparents, Arlia and Sadler Hair.
He met his wife Cathy in Post where they were married in 1977. They lived throughout Texas, Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma and Arkansas before settling in East Texas. Doyle Ray was a man with a huge heart and a larger than life presence. Full of energy and enthusiasm, ?there was nothing he wasn?t ready to do or try.? He will truly be missed by many. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 10 am at the home he and Cathy shared in Ore City.
