Doyle Thomas Flatt's Obituary
Doyle Thomas Flatt, 94, of Longview passed away at home with his loving wife by his side January 7, 2014. He was born July 1, 1919 in Burkburnett, TX to Thomas and Lettie Flatt.
Mr. Flatt lived a full life which included honorably serving our country for two years during WWII in the US Navy. He retired from Southern Gas Company at 65 after 42 years of service. Mr. Flatt enjoyed golfing with is son and grandson and spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. Flatt is survived by his loving wife of 72 years Mary Elizabeth Flatt, grandchildren Thomas William Flatt and Mary Claire Pedon and great grandchildren Shannon, Lauren, Isabella, Doyle and Ashley. His parents and son Ed Flatt all precede him in passing.
Everyone is welcome to join the family for a Celebration of His Life Friday,January 10, 2014 at
2 pm at Rader Funeral Home in Longview.
