Douglas Wayne Pritchett's Obituary
Doug was born June 30, 1953, in Texarkana, Texas. He passed away at home on Sunday, August 13, 2023. He graduated from North Mesquite High School in 1972. Doug enjoyed game hunting, fishing, farming and his most loved past time was cruising. Doug and Karen enjoyed cruising alone and with numerous friends. They were scheduled to go on their 25th cruise next year to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.
Doug is preceded in death by his biological mother, Bennie Stark Pritchett, father-in-law, Roland Wallace and mother-in-law, Mary Steele Wallace.
Doug is survived by his wife, Karen Wallace Pritchett, of Diana; daughter, Melissa Pritchett Engler, her husband Joe Engler, and grandson Lincoln Engler, of Houston; son, Brandon Joseph Pritchett, of Longview; son, Cameron Riley Pritchett and grandson Jonah Pritchett, of Diana; parents, Billy Joe Pritchett and bonus mom, Barbara Berry Pritchett, of Sulphur Springs; sister, Darlene Pritchett Snodgrass and husband Bud Snodgrass, of Edgewood; sister-in-law, Kathy Wallace Johnson and husband, Rodney Johnson, of Hughes Springs; sister-in-law, Michelle Wallace McKelvey and husband, Robert McKelvey, of Fort Worth; and brother, Calvin Wade Wallace and sister-in-law Nickie Graziano Wallace, of Midlothian. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
