Douglas L. Gibbons, Sr.'s Obituary
Funeral services for Douglas L. Gibbons, Sr. 69 of Longview will be held at Four O?clock Monday December 15, 2003 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel 1617 Judson Road with Reverend Dewayne Beaty and Reverend Lloyd Bowden officiating. Burial will follow at Rosewood Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Gibbons passed away Friday December 12, 2003 in Longview.
He was born June 29, 1934 in Bessemer, Alabama to Olen and Loretta Gibbons. He had lived in Longview since 1955 moving here from Bessemer, Alabama. He worked for the State Comptroller Office as a Compliance Officer. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and served our country in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife Mary of Longview; children, Doug and Lynnette of Longview; Robert and Nancy of Houma, Louisiana; grandchildren, Lacye, Hailea, Katherine, Adam and Sarah.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday December 14, 2003 from 4 pm until 6 pm.
