Dottie L. Rush's Obituary
Funeral services for Dottie L. Rush, 87, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Saturday, April 28, 2012 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Rev. Jay Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Park in Longview. Mrs. Rush passed away Thursday morning in a local hospital. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
Dottie was born on October 30 in Corsicana, Texas to Allen and Essie Reed. She was the owner of Dottie's Dress Shop in downtown Longview for over 45 years. She was a member of Winterfield United Methodist Church and the Pilot Club. Mrs. Rush loved her family, friends and extended family and she will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Julie Richards; her grandsons, Keith Richards and his wife Jennie, and Jason Richards; her great grandchildren, Andrew, Austin, and Ansley Richards; her step daughter, Jan Roden and her children Pam Wall and Joyce Copeland; her brother, Bill Reed and his wife Delores; nieces Karla Peterson and Paula Benton; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
