Dorothy Williams Nail's Obituary
Services for Dorothy Williams Nail, 86, of Longview, formally of Hallsville, will be held at Longview Missionary Baptist Church on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at the Hallsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 to 2 p.m. prior to service. Mrs. Nail passed away on Friday, October 16, 2015 in Longview.
She was born to Charles Monroe and Jessie Davis Williams on September 9, 1929 in Graingeville, LA. Mrs. Nail was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Lakeport, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband Daniel Frank Nail and daughter Brownie Jo Nail Cox.
Mrs. Nail is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sarah Ann and Elie Davis of Hallsville, TX; sons and daughters-in-law Danny Lee and Genifer Nail of Lindale, TX, Dennis Wayne and Pam Nail of Whitehouse, TX; sisters Joyce Greer of West Monroe, LA and Helen Bearden of Delhi, LA; grandchildren Jeff Davis of Hallsville, TX, Ducky Davis of Hallsville, TX, Kelli Vernon of Tyler, TX, Derek Nail of Flint, TX, Kristi Cawthon of Lindale, TX, Michael Hampton of Troup, TX; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Davis, Ducky Davis, Derek Nail, Austin Vernon, Lance Hampton, Terry Johnson and honorary will be Cooper Vernon.
