Dorothy Marie Tidwell's Obituary
Graveside services for Dorothy Marie Tidwell, age 88 of Henderson , will be held Monday January 3, 2011 at 11:00am at the Caledonia Cemetery with Rev. Darrel Owens officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mrs. Tidwell died Friday December 31, 2010 at a local nursing home.
She was born April 13, 1922 in the Caledonia Community to Wallace Edward & Hazie Beatrice Crump who preceded her in death. She was a retired nurse having worked at Henderson Memorial Hospital, Sunshine Nursing Home before retiring from the Overton Memorial Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Rusk County and a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son Kenneth Tidwell & wife Joyce of Henderson; grandchildren Jan Gibbs of Paris, Eva Jones of Kilgore, Tim and Terry Mack Tidwell both of Henderson. Also surviving are 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
