Funeral services for Dorothy Mae Reppond, 89, of Longview will be held at Twelve O'clock Noon Monday November 15, 2010 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home 1617 Judson Road with Reverend Yankton Hatton officiating. Interment will follow in Old East Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Reppond passed away Thursday November 11, 2010 in Longview.
She was born August 14, 1921 in Marshall, Texas to Ralph and Fannie Stegall Golden. She was a homemaker and a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.
She is survived by her three daughters, Carolyn and husband Dr. Lynn Duren of Douglassville, TX.; Joanna Joy and husband Ron of Kilgore, TX.; Johnnie Kay and husband Lane Johnson of Longview, TX.; a number of grandchildren, great –grandchildren and great-great grandchildren sister, Susan Jackson of Marshall, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, J.C. Reppond, daughter, Jackie Rager and granddaughter, Sara Hendricks-Lorentz.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday November 15, 2010 from 11 am to 12 Noon prior to the service.
