Services for Dorothy L. Acree, 86, of Longview, will be 10 am Monday, December 4, 2006 at New Life Baptist Church. Burial will take place at 2:00 pm in Red Oak Cemetery at Blossom, TX, near Paris. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. .
Mrs. Acree was born August 8, 1920 in Blossom, TX. She married Floyd E. Acree on March 14, 1946; and he preceded her in death March 30, 1989. She was a full time homemaker and mother; and had been a faithful member of New Life Baptist Church. She went home to be with her Lord November 30, 2006 after a brief illness.
Immediate Survivors include her daughter Charlotte Acree. Other survivors include her nieces Marcella Harkrider, Mary Louise Boren, Lorene Carter, Mildred Dewese, Nella Beth Long, Joan Cummins; nephews include Albert Boren, Larence Hart, Jerry Hart, Buddy Duggins, John Baxley and Jim Baxley; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
