Dorothy J. Crawford's Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy J. Crawford, age 71 of Henderson, will be held Thursday May 21, 2009 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with the Rev. Johnny Newton and Dr. Harold Springfield officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Crawford died Monday May 18, 2009 at Henderson Memorial Hospital.
Dorothy Crawford was born January 11, 1938 in Ogden, Utah, she was a homemaker, and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clifford J. and Merle Andersen; brothers, Clifford J. Andersen, Ralph Andersen, Ronnie Anderson, and Glenn Andersen; sisters, Betty Comstock, and Carol Pearson.
Survivors include husband Billy Jack Crawford of Henderson; son, Billy Michael Crawford & wife Donna K. of Henderson; daughters Kelly Poovey & husband Don of Henderson, and Lisa Crawford Ross of Henderson; grandchildren Jennifer Sprencel & husband Stephen, B.J. Poovey, Eric & Alicia Poovey, and Patrick Ross; great grandchildren Skyler Johnson, Bethany Sprencel, Tristan and Colton Poovey. Also surviving are brothers Scott Andersen of Middleton Idaho, and Blaine Andersen of Ogden, Utah ; sisters Doris Mosier of Fresno, California, and Gail Carlson of Pheonix, Arizona. Brother-in-law Jerry Crawford & wife Inga of Henderson, Nevada, sister-in –laws Janice Gage of Longview, Betty & Bill Chanler of Kilgore, and Linda & Steve Graham of Longview.
Pallbearers will be Bill Pannell, Ron Berryhill, Hugh Brownly, Charlie Crisp, Don Morrison, and Gene Nolan. Honorary Pallbearer will be Phil Rogers.
The family visitation will be from 5pm – 7pm tonight at the funeral home.
