Dorothy Lucille Grantham's Obituary
Funeral services for Dorothy Lucille Grantham, 88, of Longview will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Rosewood Park. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Grantham was born January 8, 1930 in Jacksonville, TX to Henry and Maggie Smith. She was a longtime resident of Longview and was a homemaker. After graduating from High School, she met and married Bobby Grantham, the love of her life, September 19, 1947 and just recently celebrated 71 years. Mrs. Grantham had a contagious smile and was best known for a hot cup of coffee and homemade desserts for anyone who would stop by 24/7. She was a longtime member of Pine Tree Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Pauline Duty and Ann Flick and brother Lawrence Smith.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Bobby Grantham and daughter, Gina Grantham; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Jessie with Traditions Hospice of Longview and all the ladies at Trinity Timbers, previously known as Song Bird for their tender loving care.
