Dorothy Mae Coppedge's Obituary
Dorothy Mae Coppedge, 67, of Ore City, Texas passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2018 with son and daughter-in-law present at Good Shepherd Hospital. She was a much loved Mother, Nana and Sister. She bravely confronted and fought several medical illnesses. She was born December 31, 1950 in Baytown, Texas to Curtis and Verna Dean Kuhn. She resided in Ore City, Texas the last 24 years. She graduated from Marshall High School and continued her education at Kilgore College. She married her love, Bruce Olen Coppedge, Sr. on October 25, 1969 and he preceded her in death on October 25, 1996. Dorothy worded at Anvil International for 43 years as a warehouse manager.
She is survived by her son Bruce Olen Coppedge, Jr. and wife Carrie of Ore City, Texas; daughter Tashia Turner and husband Todd of Diana, Texas; brother Doyle Kuhn of Marshall, Texas; aunt Ruby Fisher of Marshall; grandsons Trista, Blake and Hunter Coppedge; granddaughters Cara Coppedge, Brooke Coppedge Reed, Brittanie Coppedge Turner and Whittney Turner; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Verna Dean Kuhn and brother Jerry Kuhn of Marshall.
