Dorothy Bell
Graveside services for Dorothy Bell will be at 12:00 noon at Memory Park in
Longview on Tuesday, November 4, 2008.
A native East Texan, Miss Bell was born May 4, 1928 in Lassater and moved to
Longview in the early fifties when her husband, B. F. Bell, got a job at the LeTourneau
plant and her oldest of four children, Kenneth, was starting the First Grade.
She was an avid collector of stamps, rare coins and porcelain dolls. Dorothy
spent the last several years at Heritage Healthcare Center on Ruthlynn Drive in
Longview. She passed away October 31, 2008, at 9:00 p.m.
Miss Bell is survived by three children, Kenneth, Kathy and Mike, all graduates
of Longview High School. Her youngest son, David, predeceased her ten years ago, and
her husband, Mr. B. F. Bell, predeceased her thirty years ago.
Daughter Kathy and husband George Ceal are long-time residents of Longview.
Sons Kenneth Bell and wife Cris live in Louisiana, and Mike Bell and wife Peggy live
in North Carolina.
She has four grandsons, Stephen, Richard, Justin and Kurtis, and two great grandchildren.
Visitation is at Rader Funeral Home on Judson Road, on Monday, November 3,
between 6 and 8 p.m.
