Dorothy Aline Crocker's Obituary
Graveside services for Dorothy Aline Crocker, 90, of Longview, will be 2 PM Saturday at Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Reverend Dewayne Beaty and grandson, Kasey Buckner, officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Rader Funeral Home, Longview.
Mrs. Crocker died Wednesday evening in a local hospital.
A native of Howe, Texas, she was born August 27, 1915. For many years she was owner/operator of Dorothy?s Beauty Shop and was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.
One of God's rarest treasures, Dorothy is survived by a son: Kenneth Crocker and wife Bobbie of Longview; daughters: Billie McGuire and husband Larry of Grapevine, Jackie McCarthy of Ft. Worth and Anna Lohmann and husband Geoffrey of Garland; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; nephews: Buddy and Doug Lowry; nieces: Carol Guessner and Debbie Barrett. She was preceded in death by her husband: Paul Maurice Crocker; parents: R. R. and Lela May Higginbotham; brothers: Jack Benton Higginbotham and Billy Robert Higginbotham and sisters: Kathleen Lowry and husband Bob and Frankie Lee Collins and husband Clark.
The family request memorials be sent to the First Baptist Church of Longview or to Billy Graham Ministries.
