Doris Sears' Obituary
Graveside services for Doris Sears, of Henderson, will be held Saturday June 14, 2014 at 10:00am at Lakewood Memorial Park with Rev. Tommy Marshall officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home.
Mrs. Doris Sears was born in Stafford, Virginia to the late Edward and Ada Boswell, and died June 11, 2014 in Tyler. She lived with her husband, William Sears, in Henderson for the past 14 years. Mrs. Sears had a career with Civil Service working both for the U. S. Marine Corps and the U. S. Navy in the United States and Japan. She enjoyed most the time she spent as an Office Manager. In later years, she served as a Church Secretary for Eastside Baptist Church. In addition to her professional life, Doris was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her husband, sons John A. Jenkins and Donnie B. Jenkins, daughters Diane C. Jenkins and Melissa A. Haworth, 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Earl C. Jenkins. This precious soul will be greatly missed by her loved ones and friends.
