Services for Doris L. McGraw, 87, of Longview will be held at Lakeview Memorial Gardens on Monday February 23 at 10am with Rev. David Farmer of First Christian Church officiating. The family would like to greet friends at Rader Funeral Home in Longview from 2-4pm on Sunday.
Doris was born in Hughes Springs Texas of Cass County to loving parents Ellis and Vollie Lineberger and was the youngest of 3 children. Doris was an amazing wife, mother and cook; and she loved to sew and play Bridge with all of her friends.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Vollie; her 2 sisters; and 1 niece. Those left to cherish the memory of Doris include her husband of 63 and a half years, Jim F McGraw; son, Ed McGraw and his wife Glenda of Garland TX; grandchildren, Jennifer Herridge and her husband Jonathan of Pflugerville TX, and Angela Jones of Houston TX; great-grandchildren, Jillian and Jaclyn Herridge; and niece, Kim Basket of Marshall TX; as well as numerous friends. The family would like to give special gratitude to the staff of Buckner Westminster Place, and Drs. Kenneth Flory, George Leatherman, and Adam Yu of Longview Regional Cardiovascular Unit for their exemplary care. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to the Buckner Foundation of Longview.
