Graveside services for Doris F. McClure, 85, of Longview will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Rosewood Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Reverend David Reeder will officiate. She passed away Monday, January 28, in Longview.
Mrs. McClure was born March 1, 1927, in Fisher, LA to Wilson David Forrest and Mary Alice Walker Forrest. She was a homemaker and longtime resident of Longview.
Mrs. McClure was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Hiram, Sr. "Mac" McClure.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Hiram McClure, Jr. of Texarkana, Blanch "Sugar" Roberts and husband Stiles of Frisco, Ann Echols and husband Robert of Longview, Michael McClure and wife Marie of Jonesboro, TN, and Mary Carpenter of Longview; 2 grandchildren, Christopher Carpenter and Cindy Wangler; great grandson, John Wangler and great granddaughter, Alex Carpenter; and half-sister, Barbara Fay LaCombe and husband Harold of Jennings, LA.
