Doris Ellis Redmon's Obituary
Funeral services for Doris Ellis Redmon, 73, of Longview will be held at Ten O?clock A.M. Tuesday June 29, 2004 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel 1617 Judson Road with Reverend Ben Clayton officiating. Burial will follow in the Harris Chapel Cemetery in Tatum under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Redmon passed away Sunday June 27, 2004 in a Longview Hospital.
She was born May 5, 1931 in Panola County, Texas to Pete and Gemmie Ellis. She had lived in Longview the past twenty five years moving here from Tatum. She was a LVN at Panola General Hospital in Carthage for ten years. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Longview.
She is survived by her husband, Darwin Redmon of Longview; children, Kathy and Bennie Davis of Marshall; Janie Redmon and spouse Glenn Gerik of Longview; Darwin Redmon, Jr. and spouse Arleen of Tatum; Bill and Susan Lassiter of Longview; special grandson, Paul and Amber Jacks of Longview; sister, Faye Farrow of Beckville; brother, Charles Ellis of Beckville; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Linda Ellis of Edom, Texas; numerous grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday June 28, 2004 from 6 pm until 8 pm
