Mrs. Dora Mae Clanton's Obituary
Dora Mae Clanton, born April 24, 1917 in Leila Lake, Texas, passed away late New Year's Day in Longview, Texas.
Dora Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Clanton, son Charley Joe Clanton, son-in-law Carroll Dean Phillips, brother John Noble Plaster and wife Hazel, sister Mayme Waggoner and husband Clyde, and sister Faye Hufnagle.
She is survived by daughter Johnine Phillips of Longview, TX, son Michael Clanton and wife Catherine of Clovis, CA, Brother-in-Law Blaine Hufnagle of Canyon, TX, Daughter-in-Law Glynda Taylor of Searcy, AR, 8 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dora Mae was a faithful member of the Church of Christ and she was devoted to her family.
The family would like to thank her caregiver of 13 years, Charlotte Lee of Longview, TX for her loving care and conscientious attention.
Visitation will be held at Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson Rd, Longview, TX on Saturday, January 4, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
