Donnie Waits
Graveside services for Donnie Waits, 57, of Hallsville will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2007 at the Watson Cemetery, Bivins, TX. Burial will be under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2007 in Longview.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Waits was born June 12, 1949 in Longview and was a lifetime resident of the area. He was a self employed drywall applicator and a member of the Longview Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Dodson and brother Wayne Waits.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 39 years, Judy Waits of Hallsville; daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Oran Phillips of Marshall, Paula and Craig Yarbrough of Hallsville and Cindy and Stacey Ford of Cave Creek, AZ; 2 grandsons and 5 granddaughters; brothers, Jerry Waits of Leverettes Chapel, Kenneth Sullivan of Atlanta, TX, Dewayne Dodson of Tucson, AZ, and Ricky Dodson of Atlanta; sister, Sharon Waits of Atlanta; father, Otis J. Waits of Kilgore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
