Donnie Lee Sorrells
A memorial service will be held for Donnie Lee Sorrells Tuesday, 7:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1206 Jenny St. in Longview, Texas, with Jim Norton officiating. Donnie died on June 12th after a long illness.
He was born May 9, 1954 in Socorro, New Mexico to his loving parents and later moved to San Acacia where he and his younger sister shared a happy childhood on a ranch. He made Longview his home 25 years ago and was a member of the Pine Tree Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Louise Sorrells; his sister Lydia Serna, Uncle Bobby and Aunt Betty, his nephew Dylan and his wife, Amanda Serna, niece Amy Serna, and his beautiful great nephew Clayton Lee Serna, all from New Mexico. Donnie will be missed by many friends.
