Donna Jean Sanford's Obituary
Donna Jean Sanford, 91, a resident of Longview, Texas, passed away on October 14, 2017 in Mobile, AL. She was born in Seattle, Washington on August 11, 1926.
Donna was a devoted wife to Kenneth “Bud” Sanford and a loving mother to her three daughters. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family and extended family during family gatherings both in Longview and at her lake house in Louisiana. She loved outdoor activities, gardening, crafts, and reading.
Mrs. Sanford was preceded in death by her mother and father Vera Valentine and Lee Clemmings, her two sisters, and her beloved granddaughter Sherri Lynn Addison, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Those left to cherish her loving memory are daughters and sons-in-laws, Sharon Lee Addison and Ken of Gretna, LA, Beverly Anne Vann and O.D. of Mobile, AL, and Diane Marie Nichols and Norm of Baton Rouge, LA; five grandchildren and their spouses, fifthteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren and several close friends.
Graveside services will be held at the Mausoleum of Rosewood Park beginning at 10:00 am on Wednesday October 18, 2017.
