Donna Adam Fleming's Obituary
Donna Adam Fleming passed away Sunday, April 28th. She was born March 29, 1929 in Toledo, Ohio to a George and Sara Adam. Thru her life she resided in many different places: Mahwah, New Jersey; San Juan Capistrano, California; Rogers, Arkansas; Fairfield Glade, Tennessee and Longview, Texas. In San Diego she was a member of the Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church, and most recently a member of the Longview, Texas Elmira Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She graduated from Ridgewood High School in Ridgewood, New Jersey and Edgewood Park Jr. College in Greenwich, Connecticut. She was also a trained certified volunteer in the Escondido, California Eye Counseling and Crises services, and received crises calls and interviewed rape victims at hospital emergency rooms while also assisting hospital nurses in gathering evidence.
She is survived by her husband David A. Fleming Jr. and by 10 children; 3 daughters, 3 sons and 4 Stepdaughters. Daughters are Mrs. Shelly Schriver and husband Reese; Mrs. Kim Gibson and husband Kento; and Mrs. Donna Jean Sarnowski. Sons are Mr. Robert Webster, Mr. William Skip Webster and Mr. David A. Fleming III. Step daughters are Mrs. Judith Fleming Allen, Mrs. Linda Fleming Prodromides, Mrs. Mary Fleming Ahearn and Mrs. Debra Fleming Moerke. Donna had 30 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services for Mrs. Donna Fleming will be held and 10 o'clock in the morning, Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Elmira Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church here in Longview.
