Mr. Donald "Bootsy" Sullivan's Obituary
Services for Donald “Bootsy” Sullivan, 66, of Longview will be held in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Noon. Burial will follow at Rosewood Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thusday. Mr. Sullivan passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013.
Mr. Sullivan was born to Robert and Edith Sullivan on March 3, 1947 in Miami, Arizona. He was in the Navy reserve from 1964 to 1966, he served in the Air Force from 1966 to 1970 during Vietnam and went active duty in the Navy until he was medically discharged. He was a Millwright for Lone Star Still until his retirement and worked part time as a security officer. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Bob Sullivan, and half sister Barbara Clark.
Mr. Sullivan is survived by his wife Jan Sullivan; two sons Michael and David; step-son Mitchell Vickery step-daughter Angela Dockery; brother Tim Sullivan; brothers-in-law Gary and Kevin Luman ; twin brother Ronald and wife Sue Sullivan; grandson Colton Vickery; granddaughters Jordan, Maegan, Alyssa Dockery; a special mother-in-law Verda Gill; special friends Dennis and Pam Dale.
