Funeral services for Donald H. “Don” Davis , age 80 of Henderson, will be held Thursday August 21, 2014 at 10:00am at the First Baptist Church with Dr. David Higgs and Rev. Don Edmiston officiating. Burial will follow at Rusk Coun Read Obituary
Don was a faithful servant of Christ. He finished well. His life was a testament to others of faithfulness and that we are not to give up serving until the body gives out. Rusty & Devon Phenix

Don was a great soldier for Jesus Christ. He taught in Bradshaw Prison in Henderson and made a difference in many, many lives. He showed the compassion of Christ toward men that others would not. He will be greatly missed

I am sorry to read of your loss. Many have lost loved ones and want to see them again. The Bible actually has an encouraging scripture that provides hope at John chapter 5 verses 28 and 29. There it says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment." There is a hope that you can see your dead loved one again by means of a resurrection. May this be of encouragement during this time.
