Donald James Biegler's Obituary
Donald James Biegler, born 79 years ago in Aberdeen, South Dakota, peacefully passed away on October 18th, 2016 in Longview, Texas. Don is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marilyn, his three children and their spouses, Dawn and David Maly of White Oak, Texas, Scott and Laura Biegler of Boerne, Texas, and Nicole and Joey Deans of Plano, Texas, his brother and his wife, Paul and Judy Biegler of Plymouth, Minnesota, his grandchildren Paige, Michael, and Zach, and step-grandson, Jacob. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Magdalene Biegler and niece Pamela Kneip.
Don was a graduate of Central High School and Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He also served in the United States Air Force, was a Director of the Department of Labor for the State of South Dakota, a courier for Bancorp in Nacogdoches, Texas, and a bank examiner for the FDIC nationally. Don spent his retirement years living in East Texas enjoying his family. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
A private family service will be held on Saturday, October 22nd, 2016 at Rader Funeral Home at 1617 Judson Road, Longview Texas. Memorial donations may be made in Don’s honor to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (www.lls.org) and the American Diabetes Association (www.diadetes.org).
