Dear Angela and Family,
I just heard about your dad/grandfather this week and am so sorry! I can still see him at the various activities at Arp during the years the guys were in school - what a great thing to have your grandfather be able to watch you grow up! He was always so nice to visit with, and a pleasure to know. I am saddened even more that another of our survivors of the New London explosion has left us. I know that you have many wonderful memories that will always keep him in your hearts!

I just found out about Mr. Pendleton, and am so sad for your loss. I know you have a large support group to comfort you at this time, but I wish I had known so I could have been with you during the visit and funeral. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
