God gave me the amazing opportunity to introduce my sweet Cousin, Don Faulkner, to one of my best friends, Mina. Almost immediately, the two fell in love....the right kind of everlasting love they both deserved - like God planned and ordained! I told her I didn't let just 'anyone' share my maiden name, and she didn't disappoint me or Don one bit.

Thank you to all of Mina's family for loving Donald Lester Faulkner because he loved you, also. This Christian couple set an extraordinary example for anyone willing to pay attention. Family can be described in a myriad of ways, but when God is put first, it has the most epic impact, and that's exactly what they did.

Don loved Mina to the core of his being, only second to his love for the Lord. Yes, we'll miss him, but I know without a doubt he is in Heaven waiting patiently for his beautiful wife of almost 20 years to join him one day.

Don Faulkner was the most sweet, loving, caring, smart, humble and happy man that I have ever known and so proud of the way he loved and cared for my Momma. I'm also very proud to say he was my step Dad! He was a Veteran, hard working, Christian and gentle man that is survived by his loving wife Mina Faulkner, five step children that loved and cared for him to the last day Shelley, Cynthia, Kenith, Sherry and Tina and his grandkids Chase, Ross, Travis, Austin, Travis, Clint, Rachel, Hunter, Hallie, Melanie, Paige, Terri, Kayla, Christian, Kara, the many great grandkids and great great grandkids!! He was also survived by his other family that he hadn't seen for over 10+ years!
We are so thankful that the good Lord took you to be with him and you are not hurting and have a healthy body now to watch over Momma and all of us!! We will miss you dearly and we will see you someday!! We love you Don! God Speed!!

Don was such a sweet Godly man that loved my mother dearly. We were all so blessed to have him in our family. He will be missed dearly! I am so happy that God led Don to meet my mother and join our family. I know he is in Heaven now watching over us and taking pictures of new beautiful sites that God has made. We love you Don and are so happy you are no longer in pain. Rest easy! You will he missed!

Don Faulkner v1 was born in South Dakota, raised in Marshall, Texas, joined the Air Force in the mid-sixties residing in North Dakota, then moved back to Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Betty, his brother David and his nephew Jonathan. He is survived by his brother David’s family - wife Mickey, daughter Jessica and son Andy and their families and his brother Danny, Jonathan’s father and his family. As much as sometimes we want to erase history, those who lived it wish it not to be erased. Better to forgive and become stronger than to disregard meaningful experiences and relationships, ever evolving as they may be. It is the entirety of a life that forms one's legacy.

I remember when I was little and what a great daddy he was. I'm sorry for all the time he missed out with his other family. His 3 biological children, Wendy and her husband Nathan and 3 kids, Heather and her husband, Jonathan and 4 kids and Kyle and his wife, Stacey and 2 kids. Such a shame.
