Dick H. Hunt's Obituary
Funeral services for Dick H. Hunt, age 85 of Mount Enterprise, will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday March 9, 2011 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Joe Orr and Rev. Gerald Edwards officiating.
Mr. Hunt died Monday March 7, 2011 in a Lufkin Hospital.
Dick was born July 6, 1925 in Milam County, Texas to Bill and Frankie Hunt. He was retired from Shell Oil Company, and veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Hunt was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mount Enterprise, and served many years with the Texas Baptist Disaster Relief Convention. He was a 50 year member of the Texas Free Masons, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #1339.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife Shirley J. Hunt of Mount Enterprise, son; Dennison Hunt and wife Debra of Seabrook, daughter; Shirley Frances Hunt of New Orleans. Grandchildren; Carrie Hunt, Christie Hunt, Chad Buckheister, and Tressie Landry, and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1pm ~ 2pm before the service Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
