Diane O. Plumlee Smith
Funeral services for Diane O. Plumlee Smith, 57, of Longview will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 9, 2012 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park. She passed away Thursday, January 5, at her residence in Longview.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, January 8, at the funeral home.
Diane was born June 22, 1954 in Pasadena, Texas to Wesley and Joan Plumlee. She had been a resident of Longview for the past 35 years and was a longtime employee of R. Lacy, Inc. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Diane was preceded in death by her father, Wesley Plumlee.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Alan D. Smith and fiancée, Brooke Parker of Tyler; grandchildren, Colton Wesley Smith and Shaun Douglas Offenberger; mother, Joan Plumlee of Cyclone Community in Bell County, Texas; brother, Michael Plumlee and wife Karen of Richmond, Texas; nieces, Marcia Strange and husband Dan of Mobile, Alabama and Cynthia Plumlee of San Antonio, Texas.
