Diana was a mentor to me and so many other people without realizing her impact on those that love and respected her. She taught me how to play many games when I became a resident at Parkview Independent Living. I was a real challenge when playing Mexican train. Diana kept score and I always sat next to her on her left side. I fussed at her because she blocked my plays so many times. She would already have counted my score before I would finish counting my dominoes. Often,I would have the wrong total and she would laughingly say “would you like to count it again?”
We loved the drama we created while trying to entertain the other players. She was the most courageous person during her battle with cancer. Her motto was “Faith over Fear”. Romans 5:1 “Now that we have been put right with God through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Diana now has that peace. Thank you for showing the Love of Jesus to those that crossed your path. I love you and miss you dear friend.
