Dian Wolters' Obituary
Funeral services for Dian Wolters, 54, of Longview, will be 10 AM Friday in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, Longview, with Reverend Jim Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery, Rusk County, at 12:30 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 7 PM.
Mrs. Wolters was born February 2, 1953 in Longview, Texas. She was a business manager in the retail sector and a member of the Church of Christ. She was also a longtime house mother at a boy?s home in Laneville, Texas to more than one hundred homeless children. Her true happiness in life was spending time with her grandchildren. She was a most loving, genuine and kind person. She struggled for many years before her illness took her home to be with the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Lloyd and Rosie Bell Martin.
She is survived by her daughter: Carolyn Wink and husband John of Longview, grandchildren: Hunter, Hannah, Holly and Haley, brothers: Ronald Flanagan of Laneville, Buster Martin of Mt. Enterprise, Jimmy Martin and J. C. Martin of Dallas, sisters: Ruby Smith of Keller and Linda Stoner of Gainesville and a number of nieces and nephews and a great many dear and true friends.
