Dhirubhai Patel's Obituary
After a battle with cancer, Dhirubhai L. Patel, 65, of Longview, TX passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on January 28th, 2016. Born in Kampala, Uganda in November 1950, he was the second child to the late Lalbhai and Laxmiben Patel. He later moved to Birmingham, UK in 1966, before settling in Longview in 1990. He was a kind hearted, loving, person who was always smiling. He always saw the best in people and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a gift to this world and will remain in his family’s hearts forever.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, Gangaben, daughters and son-in laws (Naimisha & Kamlesh and Dimple & Hinesh), his sister and two younger brothers ( Indira & Kanti, Naren & Surekha and Prakasha & Hemlata), his granddaughter Meela and his nieces and nephews (Umisha & Hitesh, Ketan & Jamie, Bhavisha, Hitixa & Kruti) and their spouses and children.
Visiting hours will take place on Monday, February 1 from 7-8pm at Rader Funeral Home. Before the visitation hours, family and friends are invited to recite the Rudram prayer from 6-7pm.
Funeral services will be held at Rader Funeral Home in Longview, TX on Tuesday, February 2nd at 11am.
