DeVonia Jean Pratt's Obituary
DeVonia Jean Pratt, age 73, life-long resident of Longview passed away at home February 27, 2016. She was born to Neal and Veta Pratt April 7, 1942. She graduated from Pine Tree High School and Kilgore College. DeVonia worked as a respiratory therapist for Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview for many years. DeVonia was a Charter Member of Longview First Assembly of God Church and a member of the ABWA in Longview.
DeVonia was a devoted daughter, loving sister and beloved “Aunt Dee”.
Those left to cherish her memories are her sister Glenda Grammer of Longview, nieces and nephews; Scott Herndon and Marie San Juan of Springfield VA, Darla and John Allen, Todd and Lacy Herndon of Longview, great-nieces and nephews; Bayle Burrows, Jentry and Ryker Allen, Lexie and Luke Herndon, Tanner and Tessa Morris, Colton Shipp.
She will be greatly missed by her “babies” Sunshine and Patches.
Devonia is preceded in death by her parents Neal and Veta Pratt and brother-in-law Roy Grammer.
Funeral services will be 12 noon Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview with Reverends Morris Ivey and Edgar Ayala officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. Private entombment will take place at Memory Park Mausoleum.
