Deo Edward Welch, Jr's Obituary
Services for Deo Welch Jr., 85, of Longview will be held on Friday, June 24 at 12pm. The family would like to greet friends at the funeral home on Thusday from 6-8pm. Deo went to be with the lord in the early hours of Monday, June 20, 2016.
Deo was born in Corsicana TX to parents Deo Welch Sr. and his wife Katheryn on January 30, 1931. In his later years, Deo founded the A+ Defensive Driving in Longview TX, and was able to always provide the best for those that he loved.
Deo was preceded in death by both of his parents; his sister Edith Reynolds; and his brothers, Charles H. Welch of Kilgore, and Tom H. Welch of Longview. Those left to cherish their memories of Deo include is wife of 67 years, Edith V. Welch; children Delphine E. Welch-Hammer of Alexandria LA, and Deo E. Welch III of Mineola TX; grandchildren Richard, and Katherine Hammer, Kirstiana and Kaige Welch, and Chris and Dawn Cones.
