Dennis Ray Parker's Obituary
Funeral services for Mr. Dennis Ray Parker, age 64, of Henderson, will be held at 1:00PM Saturday August13, 2011, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with Bro. Billy Ferguson and Bro. James Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Parker, a lifetime resident of Rusk County, passed away Thursday morning in his home.
Mr. Parker was born March 27, 1947 in Henderson, Tx. He was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He owned and operated a dairy for 15 years, worked in maintenance and was a bus driver in West Rusk School for 15 years, Mt. Enterprise for 5 years and Carlisle for 7 years.
Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his parents Donald R. Parker and Mildred Parker.
He is survived by his wife Betty Mason Parker of Henderson, daughter and son-in-law Denise & Randy Weatherford of Brachfield, daughter and son-in-law Tina & Jason Lambeth of Henderson, grandson and wife Russell & Rachel Webb of Henderson, grandson Rodney Lambeth of Henderson,, grandson Michael Lambeth of Henderson, granddaughter Rebecca Weatherford of Brachfield, grandson, Randy Weatherford, Jr. of Brachfield, great-granddaughter Jadyn Rush of Henderson, great-granddaughter Kenlee Webb of Henderson, mother-in-law Yvonna Mason of Henderson, sister and brother-in-law Mary Jo & John Ash of Mt. Enterprise, and brother and sister-in-law Roger & Alana Parker of Lufkin. He is also survived by multiple nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Pallbearers will be, Justin Ash, Blake Wagstaff, Kevin Ash, Gary Hunt, Jimmy Mason, Jason Mason, David Mason, and Brad Cox.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Henry Pace, Joe Foster, Edward Russell, and Billy Don Davis.
Visitation will be from 6PM until 8 PM Friday at the Funeral Home.
